La maison en petits cubes

This animation is based in what seems to be a “Venice-type”city but in which the water continuously rises, and blocks of new houses much be built upon each other to be able to avoid living underwater. The water has now risen to where he is currently living therefore; he begins to build a new block/house on top of his current house. Suddenly, he drops his pipe down a “door” on the floor leading to the preceding cubes of house underwater. You can compare that “door” to maybe a lock opening a treasure chest in which his memories are in. He then gets scuba gear and goes to search for his pipe. He then finds it on the third floor from the top, and then decides to go deeper, and deeper until he reaches the seafloor in which used to be ground level. Through every door he passes by he recalls memories of caring for his wife when she was sick, then to taking care of his grandchildren, watching his son get married, then raising their children, and then finally his growing and how he met his wife in which they show them running around a tree. This animation makes your really think about your life and where you are at, and where you want to go. Also, it makes you think about the memories you’ve had with friends and family, and it also makes me want to cherish every moment of your life and to not live with regrets so one day you can be able to do dwell on your memories and re-live them.
